Occupational Therapist
Caring since 2011
Since beginning my journey as an occupational therapist in 2011, I've had the privilege of working alongside neurodiverse children, teens, and adults.
My OT practice is grounded in a profound respect for the different ways individuals experience and interact with the world, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or learning differences. I strive to move beyond quick labels like "behavior difficulties" or "laziness" that don't fully capture a person's story.
Instead, I try to understand what my clients are trying to communicate through various behaviours. My goal is to create a safe space where my clients and their carers can be curious, play, connect, and even make mistakes.
If you feel that this approach might benefit you or someone you care about, I would be honoured to listen and learn with you.
Three flexible ways to work together — each designed to meet your child in the environment where they feel most comfortable.
Convenient, comfortable therapy in your own environment — where your child feels safe, relaxed, and ready to play. Sessions are built around your family's everyday routines.
Learn about home visits →Collaborative sessions integrated into the child's school day, working hand-in-hand with teachers and support staff to help skills carry over into the classroom.
Learn about school visits →Warm, engaging sessions over video — flexible support that fits around your family's routine, wherever you are. A great option when an in-person visit isn't practical.
Learn about telehealth →A few common questions about play-based paediatric occupational therapy with Diana across Greater Adelaide.
Play-based occupational therapy uses play, creativity, and connection as the main tools for helping a child build everyday skills — from motor coordination and sensory regulation to focus, confidence, and social connection. At We Play OT, Diana Quinones meets each child through play in the environment where they feel most comfortable.
Diana works with neurodiverse children, teens, and adults, with a particular focus on supporting autistic people and those with ADHD or learning differences. Every session is tailored to the person's age, interests, and goals.
