Since beginning my journey as an occupational therapist in 2011, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside neurodiverse children, teens, and adults.
My OT practice is grounded in a profound respect for the different ways individuals experience and interact with the world, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or learning differences. I strive to move beyond quick labels like “behavior difficulties” or “laziness” that don’t fully capture a person’s story.
Instead, I try to understand what my clients are trying to communicate through various behaviours. My goal is to create a safe space where my clients and their carers can be curious, play, connect, and even make mistakes.
